Q: Do you teach classes to a group of students or individual students? A: Edocation provides educational services to individuals (tutoring) and groups of people (classes).
Q: How big are your groups? A: Our language groups are 7 to 17 people per class. Our IT groups are 3 to 12.
Q: Do you teach corporate clients? A: Yes, we do. Whether this is to keep your team happy, educated and mentally exercised or to reach a particular corporate goal, our specialists are happy to help.
Q: What ages of students does Edocation accept? A: All. We have been teaching people aged from about 7 to 77.
Q: Can I withdraw from a course? A: Yes. Each course has its own withdrawal policy that is based on the course plan. Typically, you can get a full refund before attending a class and a prorated refund based on the number of the classes you have attended. After completing a certain percentage of a course, no full or partial refund will be paid.
Q: What ERP products do you implement and support? A: Edocation implements Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (D365BC) and Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations (D365FnO). We support these products and their earlier versions such as NAV and AX.
Q: How soon can I get support? A: We classify support requests into three categories: urgent (red), intermediate (yellow) and non-urgent (green). Red cases (involving payroll or when the whole system is down) are typically addressed within 1 hour. Yellow cases (e.g. fix a minor issue) are usually addressed within 3 hours. Green cases (e.g. add an additional functionality) are typically addressed within one to three business days.
Q: What can I do with Microsoft ERP systems? A: Microsoft ERP system such as Dynamics 365 Business Central and Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations are both robust systems and you can read about them by following the corresponding links above.
Q: What can I not do with D365BC and D365FnO? A: ERP-wise our clients are able to meet all their business goals with either of these ERP systems. You can read how D365BC and D365FnO compare by visiting our Microsoft Dynamics 365 page.
Q: We are using NAV 2018. Do we need to upgrade to D365BC? A: Companies usually can continue using an older version of a system (NAV 2018 is an older version of D365BC) as long as all their key corporate objectives are met. If you would like to discuss your ERP needs and whether D365BC can help meet them better, you can contact us.
Q: How soon can Edocation implement an ERP system? A: Typically, an implementation cycle is 2 months (for financials only) or more for a full implementation (D365BC). Depending on the needs (e.g. manufacturing) of each company, an implementation cycle may be longer.
Q: How much does it cost to implement D365BC? A: The cost of implementing D365BC depends on the the ERP requirements of each company. You can visit our D365BC package page to get an idea how much it is going to cost or contact us.
Q: How long does it take to learn a language? A: It depends on what language you would like to learn and what level of skills you need to develop. It does take some time (2 and more months) and effort to learn a language well. It is possible to learn multiple languages. Sir Richard Francis Burton, for example, who spoke 24 languages, is said to only spend about 15 minutes at a time on learning a language.
Q: What is the best way to learn a language? A: None. There is no one single way to do so. As with any serious business, it takes dedication and patience. At Edocation, we do select those combinations of methods that have been proven to be efficient and effective in the past and continue being so.
Q: Can I learn to speak a language without an accent? A: Yes, you can. Depending on your mother tongue and the language you want to learn, you may be able to learn it without any accent. There is a linguistic theory postulating that a language can only be learned without an accent if learned under the age of 9; however, if your mother tongue and the language you want to learn are close phonetically, there is a good chance you will learn it without an accent.
Q: I have a friend who speaks 5 languages and he thinks that he has an accent in all – is this possible? A: Yes, it is. Depending on what linguistic context your friend has learned the languages in, all of them may reflect her/his particular sociolinguistic background. For example, if s/he learned her/his mother tongue in a place where people are known to have a particular accent, the mother tongue of your friend will likely reflect that (this could be a dialect that may sound like an accent to L1 speak of the standard version of this language). All other languages are likely to carry an accent from that mother language and, possibly, from the other languages.
Q: How many languages can I learn? A: You can learn a lot of different languages. Sir Richard Francis Burton, for example, spoke 24 languages.
Q: Does learning additional languages get in the way? A: No, on the contrary, the more languages a person has learned, the easier it is likely to be to learn an additional one.
Q: Does Edocation use any nonverbal means of communication? A: Yes, we do. Nonverbal means of communication are known to help teachers to teach and they help students to learn. =)
Q: How can I improve my chances to learn a language successfully? A: Patience, persistence, and cheer are some of the tings that will go a long way. Enrol in the course of your interest and pursue your goal.
